Version 2.0.1 corrects the shell size bug that caused hull space roominess to vary too much for different shell weights of the same calibre, adds roll period calculations as per the RN formula, better calculates waterplane area of multiple propeller shaft ship with cruiser sterns and allows open back cupola mounts on barbettes (just enter zero armour width for other above deck gun armour for a turret (on barbette) mount.
Version 2.0 was a major upgrade. Most of the code was entirely re-written to add new flexibility, correct old issues and to rely on more accepted Naval Architecture calculations. Flexibility in hull design, armour and guns was substantially improved whilst the layout has changed to an Office 2003 look and feel. In addition, all pages were redesigned so 2 ships can be placed side by side at 1024 * 768 (still fits on 800 * 600). The gun page was totally redesigned with 1 more battery, more information and the ability to enter shell weight and magazine size. Two new pages were added - the freeboard page and the weapons page.
Version 1.1 included minor improvements including a much wider choice of engine options, dual metric / imperial inputs and reports and .Net 1.1.
Version 1.0 replicated the results and capabilities of the non-metric version of SpringStyle 1.2.1 in a Windows 98 or later / .Net 1.0 Framework environment.
